Members help the fashion industry in two ways. Friends of Fashion donates a portion of membership fees, and the designers donate 10% of their sales from Friends of Fashion events, to aid workers in all levels of the fashion industry. The seamstress who can’t afford health insurance. The pattern maker trying to put his kid through school. The designer who can’t buy the fabric to meet the order that finally comes through.

As a Friends of Fashion member, you’ll get a personal, insider’s view of the fashion world. You’ll enjoy the very special experience of personally meeting your favorite designers and getting to know the person whose name is on the label. You’ll be able to shop in private, at members-only events, providing direct support to designers and their staffs. One hundred percent of the profits generated by Friends of Fashion’s business activities are donated to causes that support the fashion community’s workers, designers and institutions.
